A little about me...

 

 

My name is Andrea Okonkwo and I recently graduated from the University of Arizona with my Bachelors of Science in Business Administration in Marketing and Management Information Systems (MIS). 

 

Through my Marketing degree, I have learned about the multifaceted areas of study within marketing such as digital marketing, market research and analytics, integrated marketing communications, advertising, sales, consumer behavior, and much more. From my education and experiences, I have gained 2.5 years of experience in producing web content and social media marketing through blogging, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. I have beginner to intermediate knowledge in Salesforce, Marketo, HTML, Google Ads, and Google Analytics. I am very eager and willing to learn as much as I can in regards to these marketing tools.

 

Through my MIS degree, I have learned several coding languages such as Java and MySQL.  I have also learned how to manage databases and how technology is used in the business world. As a business student, we were prompted with many MIS projects where we had to use Excel, Access, MySQL, Java, and much more. I would define myself as young professional who has a wide array of skills ranging between marketing and technology, and who is looking to dive deeper and excel in those skills.

Throughout my time at the UofA, I have gained immense interest in marketing and information technology. The skills and knowledge I have gained from the courses offered in these two vastly different areas of study have set me apart from my peers and have expanded my skills set. Currently, I am seeking full-time opportunities that tailor to the skills I have possessed.
